My name is Ken and I am a convert to the LDS Church since high school. I graduated from BYU and I am still an active, temple recommend holding member of the Church.
I am a strong believer in equal opportunity for women and I believe being able to hold any and all leadership positions in the LDS Church should be no different. My young daughter is growing into a very independent, self confident young women. I stand in solidarity with her and am hoping that the LDS Church will continue to grow and become an all inclusive place in full support of her being able to do whatever she desires within the Church environment.
Though I’d never aspire to high-level callings such as Bishop of a ward, I would like women like my daughter to be afforded the opportunity to serve in any capacity that they can to make a positive impact to the LDS Church community.
For the above reasons, I believe women should be ordained.
