My family members have belonged to the Church for generations, since Mormons founded Nauvoo. I served a mission in Bolivia, graduated from BYU, and married a nearly perfect woman in the temple. I never thought much about gender-inequality issues in the Church until my wife decided that she could no longer participate because of them. I have three daughters, and I want them to have the Church in their lives.
Mormonism produces strong and capable women. We need them to help build the kingdom.
I love the Church, and it cannot afford to keep losing many of the best and brightest, like my wife. That’s why I think women should be ordained.
