Listen to Carson’s podcast interview here:
I am a father of four (3 boys and 1 girl), married to an incredibly smart and daring woman and I work as a dentist in the Seattle area. I graduated from BYU, grew up in Utah, received my Eagle Scout award at age 13 and served a mission in Argentina. Like Kip in Napoleon Dynamite, I love technology. I do a lot of photography and video editing. I have enjoyed getting to know my church’s doctrine and history deeply since my youth.
Reading how women used to give blessings makes me want women to be ordained. Knowing that it only would allow them to give more love to the world makes me want women to be ordained. Seeing the gender inequality in the Church makes me want women to be ordained. Seeing how the Church used to lead on gender issues but now lags behind the world also makes me want women to be ordained. All of this together makes me unequivocally feel that I believe women should be ordained.
