I was born and raised in Minnesota. I was baptized at eight years old like many other LDS members. When I was sixteen years old I went with my Young Women’s group to Nauvoo, while I was there I felt the spirit so strongly. I felt my testimony turn from faith to knowledge. I knew that the church was true and I can never deny that fact.
I have always felt that there was more to the story, that there was more truth to be learned. I am always comfortable with asking questions in order to learn all I can about the gospel. I have also felt for many years that there was more to the story concerning a woman’s role in the church.
I have prayed about it for myself and felt Heavenly Father’s love for me, it was overwhelming. I knew that my prayers were heard and I received my own confirmation about women’s ordination.
My name is Courtney, I am 23 years old; I love movies, all things history, and the church. I believe women should be ordained.
