I’m a florist, an opera singer, a lover of language. I’ve been raised in the church my whole life. I know my Heavenly Mother and have felt Her presence in my life. I believe a loving Heavenly Father and Mother would desire Their daughters to be empowered, not pedestaled or marginalized. I believe that when God promises us eternal families, He does not hang it over our heads and tear it away from us because we have questions. I believe in a God that welcomes and loves everyone (because of, not in spite of, sexual orientation, gender, race, ethnicity, economic status) and does not simultaneously shun and silence. I believe women should be ordained.
