Hi, I’m Eugene. I was born and raised Mormon in Arizona. My mother was from Mormon Pioneer heritage. My father was a Ukrainian-Russian Soldier. I am a soldier, spook, nuclear scientist. I was a US-USSR trade specialist during the Cold War, and an engineering manager in the aerospace industry. I am an anti-nuclear activist, singer, poet, writer, philosopher, teacher, seeker, student, and fool.
I served two stake missions at age 18 and 28. I was in the Elders quorum presidency and a home teacher. I have been excommunicated twice, and am now a member of several Los Alamos faith communities including the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of USA, Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran and Christian church (descendant of Cambelite tradition.) I once believed the LDS institution could set a transforming example for this country and the world, but now I believe it has defaulted on that grand mission, which has been inherited by OW. I believe women should be ordained.
