I am a wife and mother to a loving man and happy baby boy. They are my greatest treasures. My husband and I work with Primary children and their families in our ward as Cubmasters. My husband loves computer programming, and I’m a jack of many hobbies.
I feel extremely blessed to have gained a testimony of the Gospel at the age of 18. From that point forward, I have enjoyed a richness in life that I never would have imagined before joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I am adding my voice because I feel called to be an advocate for those who feel they don’t belong in the Church. I am uncomfortable with both the expectations and the limitations that have been placed upon my husband and I on the basis of our gender. Through my wrestle, I have come closer to God and more committed to discipleship in the Church. But that journey has been hard, and I believe that all who go through this should know that they are not alone and have support from others who recognize and understand the pain.
I believe that we should treat one another primarily as individuals with unique talents/desires/missions. I believe that women should be ordained.
