I am an LDS convert, an armchair theologian, and a feminist. I believe that by holding women as “less than”, the LDS Church is missing out on the talents and gifts that we can offer. We are more than mothers, more than daughters, and much more than housekeepers and cooks and many of us want desperately to serve more fully our family of faith. I believe that as women in the Church are empowered and fully valued, and leadership roles are made more available, there will be positive changes all through the ecclesiastic environment.
I believe that our Heavenly parents, jointly guiding creation from the other side of the veil, are waiting for us to catch up. I believe that women should be ordained.
