I’m Kauri. I like to compose and play music, cook, and watch comedy. I have been a member of the LDS church my whole life. I am a stay-at-home mother of three rambunctious and utterly wonderful boys. I have taught primary, led music, organized music for sacrament meetings, taught Sunday school, and briefly been in Young Women and Relief Society presidencies.
Growing up in the church, I had so many people serve me through planning activities and teaching lessons. I really felt that I was a part of a ward family who cared about me. Now, as I see young girls growing up in the church, I would love for them to experience the community and friendship I did, while also being allowed to use the power of God to help others. Women are not more or less righteous than men, but they are equally passionate about the gospel and willing to serve. I believe women should be ordained.
