I am a bookworm. I am a hobbyist photographer. I am a wife and a mother to two daughters. I was born into the church and raised by devout parents. I have held various positions in the church, most notably as a teacher in Relief Society and as second counselor in a Relief Society presidency. I am currently only somewhat active after a move to Bountiful several years ago, although I am currently serving as a visiting teacher. I have a great visiting teaching companion and I think a great deal of the sisters I visit. However, I have never felt entirely comfortable in Mormonism.
I have never recognized myself in the portraits of womanhood I have been offered by the church. I believe women should have been consistently ordained and integrated into all of the priesthood offices and duties from the restoration. I believe women should be ordained now.
