My childhood faith tradition was Roman Catholic. After several adult years of no spirtitual path I found Unitarian Universalism. UU’s teach principles and sources, not dogma nor doctrine. There is no test of membership. Among the principles is a teaching of equality and priesthood of all souls. UU’s affirm and promote “the inherent worth and dignity of every person.” Among the sources UU’s draw from are “words and deeds of prophetic women and men which challenge us to confront powers and structures of evil with justice, compassion, and the transforming power of love.” Indeed this may include the scriptures translated by Joseph Smith and others.
I believe Mormon women should be ordained.
