I’m a mother, an artist, an avid reader, an editor, and a Latin telenovela buff. I grew up in Boise, Idaho, and attended college at BYU Provo, where I met my husband Nic.
I have served as a Relief Society president, a young women’s leader, a Sunday School teacher, and perhaps most notably a visiting teacher. I have a testimony of Christlike service and the blessings it has brought into my own life and the lives of those around me. The gospel is both simple and beautiful and has been a force for immeasurable good in my life.
I don’t claim to have all the answers regarding the subject of women’s ordination. What I do claim is faith in God—who has opened the windows of Heaven to reveal many great and important things, and who will yet reveal many more. I claim knowledge that I am a child of Heavenly Parents, a Father and a Mother, who welcome faithful questions and concerns, as evidenced throughout Church history as well as in the scriptures. I claim confidence in the leaders of the Church in acting as representatives of God to listen as wise stewards and to seek God’s will.
