Hi, I’m Al! A few years ago I found a tombstone in the Kirtland cemetery with my 3rd-great grandmother’s name on it. I like to claim to be from one of the oldest Mormon families because she died at age 92!
I remember as a teenage priest looking over the congregation while seated at the sacrament table and realizing that the women I knew were just as pious as the men. It seemed odd that women weren’t ordained to the priesthood, especially since I had been taught ordination was based on worthiness.
I believe Mormon women should be ordained.
