I’m Chris. I was born in the LDS church and am originally from the Midwestern United States. I have moved around the country since serving a mission and then graduating in business from BYU. My wife and I are active members in the church and have both had callings with youth programs, including Young Women’s, Young Men’s, and Primary.
Though I have been in the church my entire life, just recently I have had my eyes opened to the pain and oppression that is being inflicted on women and minority groups. I love the church, but a doctrine and structure of “separate but equal” can never coexist with true gender equality. I believe women should be ordained.
