Hi, my name is Debbie.
I have been an active member for 35 years, have raised 6 children, and have held several callings.
I support Ordain Woman because I want my daughter and daughters-in-law, whom I love dearly, to have an opportunity to became all that they can be. I want them to be treated with the equality they deserve as children of God.
I run a fitness studio which focuses on teaching women to value themselves no matter where they are in their journey in life. All women should feel empowered and understand their unique characteristics.
There are so many women in the church that can’t see their value beyond being a mother and a wife (which are amazing experiences), but I believe all women should have the opportunity to find their individual self-worth; not have to look for goodness by what they do, but know that there is great good inside of them already.
I am grateful for a daughter who can see her self-worth and works hard to be a strong leader for those who may need someone to support them. She and others like her have much to share with the world.
I believe that women should be ordained.
