Hi I’m John. I converted to the LDS Church in 2000 and I’m blessed to be in a family with three bright, empathetic, compassionate, spiritual women.

I’ve seen first-hand the heartbreak experienced by a young woman who is told she can’t minister fully to those in need because she isn’t a man. I’ve seen the tears shed by amazing women who are denied equal access to the blessings of service solely because of their gender. I believe to the core of my being that this is contrary to the teachings of Christ. We face great challenges all around us, and we will only overcome these challenges if the amazing women of the LDS Church, women such as those I’m blessed to have in my family, are allowed to participate fully as both equal partners AND as leaders. This is why I believe women should be ordained.
