My name is Jordan and I am a recent convert in the Berkeley, California ward. I am a teacher, actor, and skateboarder (and a guy.) Since joining I have been amazed and thrilled by how many women get up and speak at sacrament meetings, so movingly and spiritually. My daughter is now an investigator. I’ve been thinking about this long and hard and listening to the Holy Ghost in my ear.
It seems to me women can be just as much filled with the Holy Ghost, revelation, and healing energy as men. My gut feeling is that women should receive Priesthood authority and power. I think that the Church should ordain women. I believe it would not only strengthen the role of women, but would reinvigorate the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with new energy and spirit. It might even bring new people to this Church which I feel so strongly is true.
